I have talked with Chris Rivenbark and Christy Huff (Division 6 Bridge Program Engineer)
concerning the fill along the B-4620 bridge project that we reviewed yesterday
evening. In reviewing the plans, the low chord of the two bridges is maintained so the
deck elevations raise. That rise lifted the roadway up approximately two feet between
the bridges. We have requested that the proposed slopes be tied into the existing
slopes to eliminate the 0.08 acre of wetland fill. By doing that it will relieve your
concerns with the excess fill and mitigation requirements. That will pretty much take
care of the issues. I am now checking on getting an idea of when the revisions can be
completed.
