FILE REVIEW COMMENTS: Program Info — Wallace continues to have no SIU's within the Town of Wallace service area, it does however receive collected wastewater from Burgaw which maintains their own Pretreatment Program. The operation to accept Pump & Haul wastewaters from the Acme Smoked Fish Co. in Pender County has now ceased with the start-up of the new Pender County treatment facility. 17 — Wallace WWTP has not experienced violations related to pretreatment issues, the facility did experience flooding and damage from the Hurricane Matthew storm event. 25 — Reviewed data included on eDMR's specifically July 24, 2017 to confirm Long Term Monitoring data was included. Issues remain in eDMR for reporting all monitoring plan data within the monthly report. All monitoring data, influent, aeration basin, effluent, etc. is maintained in separate spreadsheet for reference. SUO — The town's Sewer Use Ordinance continues to be in review by town and legal personnel, the main issue with the existing ordinance is the ability to adequately apply surcharges to the Town of Burgaw for influent wastewater. The ORC has since discontinued the monitoring of all areas of collection system service (Teachey, Burgaw, Greenevers) as there is no ability to surcharge for treating wastewater.
