In compliance with the provisions of Chapter 23 of the Charlotte City Code, North Carolina General Statute
143-215.1, 40 CFR 403 and other lawful standards and regulations promulgated and adopted by the North
Carolina Environmental Management Commission and the City of Charlotte, the following industry,
Independent Beverage Company, LLC.
Hereafter referred to by name or as the Permittee, is hereby authorized to:
1. Continue operation of the existing pretreatment facility, consisting of caustic drip pH adiustment
and pH alarm system located at 3936 Corporation Circle, Charlotte, North Carolina 28216; and
2. After receiving authorization to construct from the Control Authority, construct and operate
additional pretreatment units as needed to meet final effluent limitations, monitoring requirements
and all other conditions set forth in Parts I, II, and III hereof; and
3. Discharge wastewater from the pretreatment facility into the City of Charlotte's Irwin Creek
Wastewater Treatment Plant NPDES Number NC0024945, in accordance with effluent limitations,
monitoring requirements and all other conditions set forth in Parts I, II and III hereof.
This permit shall become effective October 1, 2016.
This permit was modified effective November 1, 2016.
This permit and the authorization to discharge shall expire on September 30, 2021.

have been in business for approximately 25 years and recently received a recommendation from our regional
DEMLR office to apply. We will be working on our Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan as well as implementing
