APPROVAL OF STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN MODIFICATIONS
Dear Mr. Burris:
The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) has reviewed the October 20, 2008 Modification Request to the Storm Water
Management Plan approved by DWQ on April 8, 2008. You have requested to revise the fill soil media mix for the
bio-retention basins due to availability issues. DWQ will approve of this change to the soil mix for the bio-retention
basins outlined on Section 02900 of the Landscaping Plans received by DWQ on October 27, 2008. All other
structural stormwater BMPs approved by DWQ must be constructed as originally approved.
This plan has been approved by the DWQ, and satisfies the stormwater conditions required by the Water Quality
Certification issued on November 1, 2007. You are required to meet the following conditions:
1. The stormwater treatment system, which includes two bioretention cells (A and B) and preformed scour
holes, as approved by this office, and the drainage patterns depicted on the plan sheets, must be
maintained in perpetuity. No changes to the structural stormwater practices shall be made without written
authorization from the Division of Water Quality. All stormwater management structures shall have
maintenance access to allow for the ability to maintain the structures, and to perform corrective actions.
2. Notification of Construction: The applicant and/or authorized agent shall contact the DWQ Express
Review Program in writing at the letterhead address within ten (10) days of the commencement of
construction.
This letter completes the review of the Division of Water Quality under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. If
