A. (3.) EFFLUNT LIMITATIONS AND MONITORING CONDITIONS
During the period beginning on the permit effective date and lasting until expiration, the Permittee is
authorized to discharge fish -Racking wastewater from Outfa11004. Such discharges shall be limited
and monitored by the Permittee as specified below:

3 Total Residual Chlorine (TRC) shall be monitored only if chlorine is used to disinfect. The
Division shall consider all effluent TRC values reported below 50µg/L to be compliant with
this permit. However, the Permittee shall cominue to record and submit all values reported by
North Carolina -certified laboratory methods (including field certified), even if the reported
values fall below 50µg/L.
Conditions:
➢ Effluent Temperature. The effluent temperature shall not increase receiving
water temperature by more than 0.8 degrees C (June -August) nor more than 2.2
degrees C (September -May). In addition, effluent temperature shall not cause
receiving water temperature to exceed 32 degrees C.
➢ The Permittee shall implement and n aintain Best Management Practices (BMPs)
for clean-up procedures [see Special Conditions A. (4.)
➢ The Permittee shall obtain authorization from the Division of Water Quality
prior to utilizing any biocide (See Special Conditions A. (5.).
