Dear Mr. Corporon:
The Lower Cape Fear Water & Sewer Authority ("Authority") has reviewed the Division of
Water Resources' (DWR) General Permit NCG590000 for greensand-type and conventional -
type water treatment plants. The Authority hereby requests DWR covers the discharge from its
Bladen Bluffs Regional Water Treatment Plant under this new general permit. Additionally, the
Authority understands that DWR will rescind individual NPDES permit NCO088781 upon
issuing a Certificate of Coverage (COC) under NCG590000.
