Storm flow barrels were backfilled with native material and sills installed per the plan. Floodplain benches formed on their
own following several storm events that occurred prior to bench construction. Sediments were deposited where benches
were to be constructed. It was determined that further work was not needed to benches. We'll allow nature to take its
course on this one.

Comment: Flood plain benches were forminq on their own followinq several larqe storm events. DOT asked if anv
further work was needed per the plans to construct benches. It appeared that the benches were alreadv
functioninq without additional riprap. I reviewed the site with DOT bv walkinq alonq the newlv form
benches and determined that thev were stable. Veq was beqinninq to emerqe as well. We all decided to
leave well enouqh alone and seed and with native riparian mix and place orqanic fiber mattinq.
