Could you dig into the statement about " the bridge engineer asked the town to drain the lake" statement?
With the fish kill and discharge of sediment, the ARO may want to take an action towards getting receiving stream cleaned up
and lake restocked. It would be helpful to know who the responsible party actually is.

I just got off the phone with Kevin Barnett who was on his way to Old Mill Lake Dam, CALDW-024. Kevin got called out to Old
Mill Lake because the lake level had been lowered 20 feet which resulted in a large fish kill. Kevin had the impression that the
lake level was lowered due to a dam safety request. I informed Kevin that I would pass along this information to you.
