Annual Avg Daily Traffic (veh/hr/day): Design/Future: n/a Year: 2036 Existin : 365 Year: 2016 General Project Narrative: Project consists of the replacement of bridge #126 in NASH County. The existing bridges carries SR 1310 Edwards road over Big Peachtree Creek between SR1308 (Description of Minimization of Water Richardson road and SR1324 RaceTrack road. The proposed structure for bridge #126 is 1@92.8' 33" Boxed Beam with 2.5' caps and 2-bar metal rail. The proposed alignment Quality Impacts) is at the same location as the existing alignment. There are wetlands located within the project limits. STORMWATER CONTROLS: The proposed bridge does not utilize deck drains. Runoff from the bridge roadway and paved shoulders at the bridge approaches drains into inlets. The stormwater is then diffused at riprap pad outlets prior to discharging into Big Peachtree Creek. Runoff from the roadway will go into special cut ditches and be difused at a rip rap pad. Shoulders will be grassed except on the proposed bridges and their approaches. Bank Stabilization is planned to prevent erosion of the streambanks.
