Do what you need to get it fixed. If you have another frac out at this bent , will you
vibrate all the casings down further?

Ben Meyers (Assistant RE) contacted me at 4:30 this afternoon to let me
know that we had a frac out at Bent 6 Pier 2 this afternoon. They were
below the casing about 20 ft. and started losing about 130 gallons every
3 minutes. Eventually they started seeing a small stream of
turbidity/slurry coming up inside the turbidity curtain so they stopped
drilling, pumped out the slurry to take off the head pressure and placed
dirt in the casing to seal it. Apparently most of the loss inside the casing
stayed subsurface. I spoke Chris Brotherton around 5:15 and he said
the stream had stopped and that there was no noticeable discoloration
inside the turbidity curtain.
The proposal is to weld on a 10 ft. extension, vibrate the casing down
and resume drilling. I'm not sure when this will occur because BB had
taken the vibratory hammer to the US 17 project.
Please let me know if you have any issues with the proposal.
Thanks!
