Remarks and Recommendations:
Partial project inspection.
Lifting ICA status for this site on the project. Dave Wanucha from DWR made a site review and will send a
report of his review.
Repairs have been made to the first bridge site banks with grading, seeding/coir fiber matting, silt fence and
berms. Additional silt fence was added along the creek.
Silt checks and silt fence were added at the temporary bridge.
Continue efforts to seal the bridge deck and stabilize the approaches to the bridge to help prevent sediment
impacts to the creek.
Seed and mulch all disturbed slopes along the haul road and maintain a narrow haul road as much as
possible. Additional stabilizaton of the haul road may be needed as work progresses.
Environmental assesment is scheduled. Submit the assessment for review and overall approval of the
reclamation plan before allowing work to resume in this area.
Contractor training on the environmentally sensitive sites was discussed - review and reinstitute the regular
discussions and chain of command for work in these areas as previously developed.
As noted before, contractor needs an approved reclamation plan before conducting work outside of the
established project limits.
