Has DOT consulted with FWS on this? 2) The information indicates that Waxhaw creek is 20' wide and the proposed culvert is approximately 12.5' x 8'. If the stream is 20' wide, then the proposed culvert would be too narrow. 3) What is the size of the existing pipe at the UT to waxhaw creek? 4) Last thing, Wetland B appears to be more of a stream to me. I'm thinking a site visit might be a good idea since this project has a couple of wetlands. How does 6/28 sound? Crystal C. This request is for a culvert replacement on Waxhaw Creek that is 16 feet longer than existing, 120 linear feet of bank stabilization and the replacement of a second culvert within the project limits that carries an unnamed tributary of Waxhaw Creek (5 feet of new impacts). There will be 0.01 of an acre of wetland fill and 0.01 of an acre of wetland vegetation clearing as well. There is a Rapanos form included in the package prepared by STV, but I have attached a Preliminary JD to help expedite the request.
