Two -hundred one -gallon trees were planted in approximately 60% of the easement area (seven acres). Representative photos are attached. Let me know when you can schedule a site visit to review the adaptive management and discuss close-out. RES can also perform an early growing season vegetation monitoring, including supplemental plots, to document tree survival and height. Thanks. No mowing will take place within 30 feet of a stream channel. Following mowing, RES staff will evaluate the condition of the planted trees. Easement areas exhibiting poor vigor and/or low planted stem density will be supplemental planted with container trees. This work will be completed by May 12, 2017. Please let me know when you are able to schedule a site visit to review the completed maintenance work. Thanks. For instance, if Fall 2017 is something you want to be reconsidered, please state that in the letter briefly.
