1. Avoidance and Minimization
1a. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing project.
Where it is feasible, the new installations are designed to keep the stream, buffer, and wetlands crossings as close to 90 degrees as possible. The
sewer on the Bartlett Mills property is designed and to be installed in an existing access driveway for residents on the north side of the railroad tracks.
This area is already cleared and maintained.
1 b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques.
Proper erosion control techniques will be used throughout the construction process, including the use of silt fence, silt fence outlets, properly designed
and installed construction entrances, tree protection fencing, and rock check dams.
