Ms. Euliss,
Please find enclosed with this letter the documents that you have requested to continue
the review of this project. In addition, I have addressed your concerns below.
1. Construction Stream Restoration Drawings are enclosed.
2. As indicated on the drawings enclosed both of the channels to be restored do not
have sufficient flow to establish a pump around system. In fact both channels were
dry at our last site visit. We believe that the excavation and pump system would
require excess excavation of the channel and be more damaging than potentially
helpful.
3. Bedrock has been identified in the field and the pipes will not be perched. As
indicated in the enclosed plans, restoration measures will be placed as to restore
natural conditions to the features. No rip rap aprons or scour holes will be needed.
4. The landowner is aware that deed restrictions and notifications will be required.
We look forward to resolving this matter in a timely fashion. Thank you for your
