Plans were made to improve inlet scour hole once EC measures were removed. Results of the subsequent channel survey conducted by DOT have not been fully assessed as of this writing. Reason for Visit: Routine Yes No NA NE � ❑ ❑ ❑ � ❑ ❑ ❑ � ❑ ❑ ❑ Comment: This was a follow-up visit to review Site 8 culvert inlet and outlet with DOT staff and Corps staff. DOT decided to revise the inlet flood qlain area once erosion control measures were removed. The intent is to enhance recoverv of scour hole in front of the low flow inlet sill and lessen the minor watertall effect over the sill. The outlet flood plain bench (low flow side) was modified with Class B riprap in an effort to lessen the waterFall effect over the outlet sill. This was requested bv WRC last summer as a means to improve aquatic passaqe. The sill had not been constructed at the time of our visit, but was completed bv the end of the dav. page: 2
