The City of Winston Salem request that you provide a written response confirming that this application has been received and is complete. Due to low concentrations of BOD and TSS in our past effluent samples and budgetary constraints, we request that we be considered an "exceptional facility" and have our sampling frequency for these pollutants reduced to twice/week. 2. Due to low concentrations of Fluoride in our past effluent samples and budgetary constraints, we request that our sampling frequency be reduced from weekly to quarterly with monitoring requirements only. 3. Due to low concentrations of Total Mercury in our past effluent samples and budgetary constraints, we request that our sampling frequency be reduced from 2/month to quarterly with an annual average concentration limit of 47 ng/L based on Technology Based Effluent Limits. The City of Winston Salem also requests an"Owners" draft of the reissued permit prior to public notice.
