Hi David,
I have reviewed the information sent to me about the Farnsworth Streambank Restoration project,
which proposes to stabilize a 50-ft section of Mill Creek with rock in Macon County.
Project activities should not impact trout resources and do not need to be avoided during a trout
moratorium.
We recommend that the landowners plant a buffer of native riparian shrubs and trees to better ensure
project stability and improve habitat for both aquatic and terrestrial wildlife resources.
Thank you for the opportunity to review and comment on this project. Please contact me if you have
any questions about these comments or need further assistance.
Andrea
