As follow up to your telephone discussion with Richard Baker and Shannon Langley on
February 17th, 2016, Duke Energy hereby requests that the pending major modification requests
for the subject facility be treated additionally as a request for NPDES permit renewal.
No changes have been made to the system since the submission of the major modification
requests and no additional discharges have been made, with the exception of a short lived
minor discharge from internal outfall 005 due to a leak at a valve.
