Per the requirements of the Neuse Riparian Buffer Rule, diffuse flow must be achieved at every stormwater discharge point on this property. The requirements for diffuse flow are explained in Chapter 8 of the BMP Manual. Please submit a site plan that shows every stormwater discharge point on the property and the corresponding diffuse flow measure that will be used. 2. For each proposed level spreader, please provide a Level Spreader Supplement Form with ALL required items attached. If any of the stormwater discharge points are located such that the filter strip (from the proposed level spreader lip to the top of bank of the receiving stream) exceeds the allowable slope (6-8 percent), then you must provide a BMP that removes 85 percent of TSS and 30 percent of TN and TP instead of the level spreader. For each proposed BMP, please provide the appropriate BMP Supplement Form with ALL required items attached, or alternatively provide evidence that Johnston County has approved an appropriate BMP design in that location (see Item 3). The BMP Manual and BMP Supplement Forms are available on the DWQ web site at: http://h2o.enr.state.nc.us/su/bmp forms.htm. 3. Please provide documentation of the Johnston County's approval of the stormwater management plan for this project by providing EITHER: • A valid approval letter from the Johnston County indicating that the proposed activity has an approved SMP and one copy of the approved SMP, including plan details, calculations and other supporting information, OR A set of stormwater plan details and calculations stamped as "Approved" by Johnston County.
