Design, permit, and construct sea wall/ boulder steps as per site visit 9/2/2016.
Proposed wall to have an average height of 5' and an approximate length of 335'.
Before work commences, contractor will coordinate written permission from Duke
Energy and DWQ, and provide plan view CAD drawings for project approval/ input.
Proposed wall construction to include construction of wall and footer, boulder steps (2
Sets to access lake average width of 5'), aggregrate armoring where required (any
footer not on solid rock), integrated geo-textile and aggregate (French drain) drainage
(100% of wall height) to ensure long-term wall stability. Bid assumes that all site can
be accessed from the shore during winter months of 2016/2017. Upon completion of
wall construction, all impacted areas will be fined graded, seeded, and covered with
hydromulch..
