Dear Mr. Pettyjohn:
On May 28, 2008, I visually inspected the construction work on NC Highway 90 at Bridge No. 3 over Lost
Cove Creek in Caldwell County. The project appeared to be in good shape. Construction work at the site is
minimal at this time. The erosion and sedimentation control structures, vegetative covering, mulching and
matting appear to be working properly.
Please continue to ensure that all sediment and erosion control structures are maintained and that seeding and
mulching are performed as needed to protect downstream waters. A copy of the inspection report is attached
to this letter.
