Subject:Kinston River walk phase 1
Garcy, In regards to our conversation today. I came back to the office to brief Jeff Cabaniss and Betty Anne Caldwell.
During this conversation Jeff indicated that the section of concern (in buffers) already had a concrete bike path existing,
it was removed improved to a state spec bike path. It shows up on Google and is well documented by the consultant
with photographs as well. This might not change everything but you need to know this as there was an existing use there
though the park that was improved. I asked the consultant to overlay the previous walkway on top of the new walkway
to show their alignments. I have a draft copy of a buffer authorization application with a narrative but based on the
information I just passed on to you things might change so will hold off sending until we figure out what all you need to
process.
