Dear Mr. Richardson:
Subject: Hold-401 Water Quality Certification
DWQ #08-0851
Incomplete Application (PCN)
Evergreen Landing
Gaston County, NC
The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application for a 401 Water Quality
Certification for the subject project on May 20, 2008. 1 have reviewed the application and the
following information/comments are needed by this office in order to complete our review:
a) Please provide a topographic map of the site.
b) Please provide a "detailed" site diagram. The current submittal shows only the culvert.
The site diagram should show the basic building envelop, parking, community area,
storm water BMP, etc. This should overlay the stream channel.
C) Please provide copies of the stream and wetland data forms.
d) The culvert details are inadequate. Please provide construction details for the stream
impact (culvert cross sections, profiles, longitudinal profiles). Stream impacts associated
with culvert installation and riprap should be identified.
Pursuant to 15A NCAC 2H .0507(h), please be advised that this project will be placed on hold
Failure to submit the requested information by July 1, 2008 will result in the application being
withdrawn from consideration. You may reapply, but a new fee and application will be required. In
addition, this office is requesting that the Army Corps of Engineers place a hold on processing the
application.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (704) 663-1699 or Ms. Cyndi Karoly in Raleigh
at (919) 733-9721.
Sincerely,
