Subject:Lausch Subdivision - NCWRC comments
Hi William,
I have reviewed the information sent to me on the Lausch Subdivision project in Buncombe County, which
proposes to fill 0.097 acre of wetland, culvert 35 feet of an unnamed tributary to Ross Creek, and install a
utility line crossing through Ross Creek. Some of these proposed impacts will be in the 100 year floodplain of
Ross Creek.
The project should not impact wild trout and does not need to be avoided during the trout moratorium.
Thank you for the opportunity to review and comment on this project. Please contact me if you have any
questions about these comments or need further assistance.
Andrea
