At the time of my visit the dual pipes permitted for installation under Johnson St. had been installed and stream flow returned to the pipes. Sediment and erosion control devices are to be installed today and the area temporarily seeded early next week. Rip rap stabilization of the upstream and downstream banks, headwall construction, and channel relocation downstream of the pipes will be started in the next few weeks. Completion of these items will require further dewatering of the work area with the stream being pumped around to a point downstream of the work area. I did a little digging regarding the power pole foundations recently installed on either side of Johnson St. DOT applied for and received a buffer impact authorization in March 2016. The following links provide electronic copies of the application and the approval letter for the utility impacts. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks.
