I have the file for this project sitting on my desk for stormwater review and had
a few questions for you. On page 2 of your response letter dated March 13, 2008
(received April 10, 2008), you state that an NPDES stormwater permit has been
obtained for this project. I have just spoken with the DWQ Stormwater Unit staff
that handle these permits and they do not have a record of issuing a stormwater
permit for this project. Do you possibly have a copy of the stormwater permit?
If so, I will need a copy of that as well as a copy of the stormwater management
plan that was approved.
* - The NPDES stormwater permit to which I refer is for construction runoff and is
part of the erosion and sedimentation control permit approval. When this project was
started and these plans were first completed and submitted, that was the only
stormwater permit required for the project. It is my understanding that NPDES Phase
II stormwater management requirements may now be applicable to Harnett County, but
that this project established vested rights prior to such.
I also need you to provide the correct latitude and longitude of the project - the
lat and long given in the application does not correspond with any point in North
Carolina.
* - Well, that's pretty embarrassing as I am licensed surveyor! The correct
coordinates are: 35.2290N, 78.9523W.
