Freeboard was not maintained at Z on August 1st and 2nd due to excessive amounts of rainfall, resulting in wet field conditions. Hydraulic loading 12 month rolling average was exceeded in Field 9. A phone
call was made to Geoff Kegley, NCDEQ, on August 11, 2016 explaining the situation. This occured due to excessive rainfall and a wastewater upset that occured earlier in the year, which forced us stop
irrigating certain fields and irrigate harder on others. We felt it was in our best interest to continue irrigating hard in preparation for hurricane season.
