Construct a 12.6-mile long, new location roadway (Western Wake Freeway) on the western side of Wake County. The proposed Western Wake
Freeway is a component of the Raleigh Outer Loop. It is planned as a six-lane, fully controlled-access, toll facility with a 78-foot wide median.
