Greg,
th
It looks like the contractor (Waff Contracting) will be mobilizing to start work on October 10, so I would like to meet
th
you on October 6 (10:00am okay?) to get the GP 17 for the sandbag project. I can then send a copy of that to Kyle and
Garcy. That would give me Friday and Monday to get the GP48 & 401 and the contractor would be ready to start work.
Kyle – correct me if I am wrong but, I believe you said, once I send you a copy of the CAMA’s GP, then the GP48 can be
issued via email and we need to follow those conditions.
Garcy – you said a written 401 is needed, but hopefully that can be emailed to us, and we can review the conditions on-
th
site with the contractor on October 10.
Waff has done this numerous times, so I’m glad they got the contract and are efficient in getting it done quickly.
Fortunately, last week’s storm did not do anymore damage and the bags still seem to be protecting the roadway. There
is another storm in the tropics that has the potential to head up the east coast by the end of next week, which may
throw a kink in this schedule. Hopefully, it will stay in the Caribbean, but the forecast is a track up the east coast.
