General Project Narrative: This project, SF-790251, consists of constructing a new 85' single span bridge, 33' out-to-out width which will replace the existing 39'-3" single span bridge. The project is
(Description of Minimization of Water located near China Grove, NC on SR-1549 which is classified as a local road. The surrounding area is rural residential and agricultural land. The drainage area for Kerr Creek
Quality Impacts) at this crossing is approximately 5.76 square miles.
The project drainage system consists of a drop inlet and pipe that drain to roadside ditches. Riprap aprons are located at the end of all pipe outfalls and where ditches
tie into the stream banks.
