Subject:
Rush Mountain Stream Restoration
Hi David,
I have reviewed the information sent to me on the Rush Mountain Stream Restoration project, which proposes
to remove a dam on a small in -stream pond and restore the stream channel within the pond bed, impacting
136 feet of Greer Creek in Henderson County.
Project activities should not impact trout and do not need to be avoided during the trout moratorium. We are
supportive of the project as described, as it will remove a barrier to aquatic organism passage and address
multiple sediment sources on the property.
Thank you for the opportunity to review and comment on this project. Please contact me if you have any
questions about these comments or need further assistance.
