Here are my calls on the preservation at Valleyfields:
Reach E- there was some narrow buffer on stream left and the upper third of the stream was more incised with a few
more eroding banks, the bottom two-thirds was pretty good, perhaps 7.5:1, considering the whole reach I would say
10:1.
Reach K- 75% of reach was ok, the top 25% was more incised, I would give this one a 10:1 as well.
Reach M- largely ephemeral with buffer encroachment on stream right, recommend no credit.
Reach G- I thought this one was pretty good, I would give this one 5:1
Tomorrow's meeting
We could do either of two things:
1. Meet at Archdale, I reserved room 742A (8:30-12:30, 1 know we won't meet that long...), although all the spaces
in lot 25 are reserved for this class we are doing (you would have to park over at Seaboard Station across the
street), or
2. Meet a cup a joe on Hillsborough,
Either way, I am asking you guys to come downtown...
