I am just following up with the most recent rainfall events from last Friday (06/03) to today (06/07). On the U-2519DA
project (Fayetteville Outer Loop), it was reported that there was 2.1 inches of rainfall. I am not sure about the total
because the project right next to the project, U-2519CB, received 3.0 inches up until Monday and an additional 1.15
inches yesterday. The rainfall that we experienced was high intensity short duration. Heavy downpours. Areas where
erosion control devises were surcharged with sediment which found its way into jurisdictional wetlands / streams are as
followed:
Permit Site #2 – sta 22+30 RT 30 – COL 1 – remove 10 gal of sediment below rip-rap (35 sq ft)
Permit Site #3 – sta 13+75 RT 15.0 –RP1A- repair weep and remove 10 gal sediment (25 sq ft)
Permit Site #6 – sta 12+25 LT 3.0 – TT5 – repair weep and remove silt and #57 stone 5 gal (10 sq ft)
Permit Site #3 – sta 19+70 RT 50 –Y1- remove silt from riprap toe of slope 50 gal (50 sq ft)
Permit Site #5 – sta 23+50 RT 50 –Y1 – repair weep remove 10 gal silt and #57 stone in wetland (15 sq ft)
The contractor has crews on-site to complete the repairs and remove the sediment.
