Comment: Outlet floodplain benches were underwater. Streamflow at the time of inspection was low flow or baseflow.
A cobble riffle 100' downstream is at a hiqher elevation that the floodqlain benches. DOT DEO explained
that over time, the culvert should backfill with natural sediments resultinq in a hiqher elevation. Fish
passaqe is not a problem. NCWRC was contacted to determine if the aqencv has concerns.
