SUBJECT: 6/3/2016 Compliance Evaluation Inspection
PWC/Fayetteville
Rockfish Creek WWTP
Permit No: NC0050105
Cumberland County
Dear Mr Noland:
Enclosed please find a copy of the Compliance Evaluation Inspection form from the inspection
conducted on 6/3/2016. The Compliance Evaluation Inspection was conducted by Mark Brantley,
Environmental Program Consultant, of the Fayetteville Regional Office. The facility was found to be in
Compliance with permit NC0050105. The cooperation of Mr. Scott McCoy, facility ORC,was greatly
appreciated. As a reminder, preservation of the Waters of the State can only be achieved through
consistent NPDES Permit compliance.
Comments
• Facility was clean and neat in appearance at the time of the inspection. This facility is also well
maintained and operated by a very knowledgeable operations staff.
• Maintenance records, work orders, and ORC logs are maintained through an electronic work
order system.
• Only the field parameter section of the Laboratory was inspected due to
construction/remodeling activities that were being performed at the Cross Creek Laboratory.
The Cross Creek Laboratory was inspected by the Laboratory Certification Branch in July 2015.
• The relocation of the effluent sample equipment was discussed during the inspection. The
Fayetteville Regional Office understands that the sample pump and refrigerator may be moved
to a more convenient location but the sample point will remain the same (at the bottom of the
cascade).
