Project Description —
NCDOT proposes to replace Bridge #37 which is currently a 2 span 60' x 25' bridge with a 2 span 82' x
30' bridge over Crooked Swamp. The proposed stormwater runoff from the proposed bridge has been
conveyed to a storm drainage system that outlets outside of the buffers and then provides treatment of
the stormwater via a small grass swale. There are 2403 square feet of impacts to Buffer zone 1 and 685
square feet of impacts in Zone 2 that will be associated with this project.
