This would apply to Charlotte Water's following NPDES permits: NC0024937 Sugar Creek WWTP NC0024945 Irwin Creek WWTP NC0024970 McAlpine Creek WWMF NC0030210 Mallard Creek WRF NC0036277 McDowell Creek WWTP N00084387 Lee S. Dukes WTP NC0084549 Franklin WTP NC0069523 Union County—Tallwood Estates WWTP NC0069841 Union County—Crooked Creek WWTP#2 NC0085359 Union County—Twelve Mile Creek WWTP NC0085812 Union County—Grassy Branch WWTP Charlotte Water's IT team that is dedicated to the setup and implementation of the eDMR has been delayed due to the delay of Charlotte Water's setup and implementation of our new Laboratory Information Management System(LIMS). Until the new LIMS system setup is complete and quality tested, the setup and implementation of the eDMR cannot occur. In addition to the delay in the implementation of our LIMS system, Charlotte Water would like to discuss some recent observations that we have made regarding the eDMR template. We appreciate your consideration of our request for an extension. We believe this could be a lengthy process to complete the LIMS implementation and setup automatic transfer of data into the eDMR template. As a result, Charlotte Water would like to request an extension of the eDMR reporting requirement until November 30, 2016. Please let us know if you have any questions,or if you need any further information. If you do, please call Shannon Sypolt,Water Quality Program Administrator,at 704/336-4581 or me at 704/391-5181. Thank you for your assistance with the application process. Respectfully, Oacq line A.Jarrell, P. . Operations Chief, Environmental Management Division Charlotte Water Cc: S. Sypolt
