Per Session Law 2024-49 Senate Bill 166 (Section 4.3), after construction of the sewer system is completed, and within 14 days of receiving all necessary certifications from a professional engineer that the sewer system extension complies with all applicable rules and Minimum Design Criteria, the Commission shall issue a receipt of certification. Per Part II Standard Conditions, Item 7 of the permit, upon completion of construction and prior to operation of these permitted facilities, the completed Engineering Certification form attached to this permit shall be submitted with the required supporting documents to the address provided on the form. A complete certification is one where the form is fully executed, and the supporting documents are provided as applicable. Supporting Documentation contents are identified in subitems a, b, and c of the same condition. Additionally, per the Fast Track Sewer Engineering Certification form, a Final Certification shall be a complete set of record drawings and design calculations regardless of whether partials have been submitted. While Division staff may review the certification submittal in the future and reach out with any questions, by certifying the project, the signatory Professional Engineer has indicated that it complies with all applicable permit requirements, as well as State and Federal rules, the Minimum Design Criteria for permitting Fast Track Sewer Extension projects, and has submitted all required supporting documents. A preliminary review of the submittal has found the certification to be complete. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
