DIMENSIONS THE RECP SHOULD BE PLACED UPSIDE DOWN IN THE TRENCH WITH THE ROLL ON THE DOWNSTREAM SIDE OF THE BENCH. 4. FOR ANCHORING DEVICES, 11 GAUGE, AT LEAST 6 INCHES LENGTH BY 1 INCH WIDTH STAPLES OR 12 INCH MINIMUM LENGTH NOTES: ONCE PINNED AND BACKFILLED, THE RECP IS DEPLOYED BY WRAPPING OVER THE TROP OF THE TRENCH AND UNROLLING WOODEN STAKES AREA RECOMMENDED FOR ANCHORING THE RECP TO THE GROUND. DRIVE STAPLES OR PINS SO THAT THE UPSTREAM. IF THE CHANNEL IS WIDER THAN THE PROVIDED ROLLS, PLACE ENDS OF ADJACENT ROLLS IN THE TERMINAL TOP OF THE STAPLE OR PIN IS FLUSH WITH THE GROUND SURFACE. THEN PIN THE RECP (TWO LAYERS) TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TRENCH, BACKFILL, AND COMPACT. CONTINUE UP DOWNSTREAM/DOWNSLOPE RECP. THIS OVERLAP SHOULD BE ANCHORED AT 1 FOOT SPACING ACROSS THE RECP. WHEN 2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT DISTURB MORE AREA THAN CAN BE STABILIZED THE SAME WORKING DAY. IMPERVIOUS DIKES SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED TO ISOLATE THE IN-STREAM WORKING AREA. AN IMPERVIOUS FABRIC MEMBRANE AND INSTALLING MULTIPLE WIDTH MATS HEAT SEAMED IN THE FACTORY, ALL FACTORY SEAMS AND FIELD OVERLAPS SHOULD BE SAND BAGS OR STONE SHALL BE USED TO CREATE THE DIKES. SIMILARLY ANCHORED. 8. THE WORK SEQUENCE IN PUMP-AROUND OPERATIONS PROCEEDS AS FOLLOWS: RECP MAINTENANCE NOTES A 1. GOOD CONTACT WITH THE GROUND MUST BE MAINTAINED, AND EROSION MUST NOT OCCUR BENEATH THE RECP. C. INSTALL UPSTREAM IMPERVIOUS DIKE AND BEGIN PUMPING (CLEAN WATER) DOWNSTREAM TO STABILIZED OUTLET. 3. ANY AREAS OF THE RECP THAT ARE DAMAGED OR NOT IN CLOSE CONTACT WITH THE GROUND SHALL BE REPAIRED AND D. INSTALL DOWNSTREAM IMPERVIOUS DIKE AND DE-WATERING PUMP. STAPLED. E. PERFORM CHANNEL WORK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PLANS IN THE WORKING AREA. 4. IF EROSION OCCURS DUE TO POORLY CONTROLLED DRAINAGE, THE PROBLEM SHALL BE FIXED AND THE ERODED AREA F.
