Good morning,
Division of Water Resources' records indicate that Permit No. WQ0021734 has an overdue annual fee. Pursuant to 15A
NCAC 02T .0105(e)(2), the PermiƩee must pay the annual administering and compliance monitoring fee. Failure to pay
outstanding annual fee shall result in future Compliance NoƟces.
Accordingly, please remit payment using ePayments, check, money order, or electronic funds transfer in the amount of
$1,160 for the following overdue annual fee. Make any checks payable to the North Carolina Department of
Environmental Quality. Please also double-check the billing address on the aƩached invoice and let me know if it needs
to be updated so we can ensure these invoices go to the correct place.

If you paid the overdue annual fee prior to receiving this noƟce, provide documentaƟon verifying payment (e.g.,
receipt, canceled check, etc.)
If the non-discharge system was never constructed or if it is no longer acƟve, you may request to rescind
(cancel) your permit. If both the Central Office and Regional Office approve the rescission request, we will also
waive any overdue annual fees. However, if you wish to construct or operate the subject non-discharge system
in the future, you will have to obtain a new permit at that Ɵme. Please send an email to
nathaniel.thornburg@deq.nc.gov to request rescission.
If you no longer own the property containing the subject faciliƟes, please noƟfy us so that we can contact the
new landowner(s). As your permit notes, ownership of the permit does not transfer with the land, therefore
you are sƟll responsible for the permit and annual fees unƟl we can re-issue the permit to the new
landowner(s).
