Director Christel Compton The Chemours Company Fc LLC 1007 Market St Wilmington, DE 19899 NORTH CAROLINA Environmental Quality September 12, 2024 SUBJECT: Compliance Inspection Report Chemours Company -Fayetteville Works NPDES WW Permit No. NCO089915 Bladen County Dear Permittee: The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Chemours Company -Fayetteville Works on 9/03/2024. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NC0089915. The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report". There are two wells at influent, each with two pumps. This influent feeds to site 003 as well as a lift station that feeds site 004 (NC0090042) as needed. Dual train GAC filtration consisting of lead, mid and lag tanks are present to remove PFAS related compounds. GAC changeouts are performed approximately monthly as needed. The ORC log was up to date. Reporting is done by entering sampling and flow data into a computer system that mimics eDMR formatting and is copy/pasted into eDMR. Facility was clean and neat in appearance. All treatment units appeared to be in working order at the time of the inspection. There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this inspection report is not required.
