Implementation Status of the Stormwater Program*
Please describe summary of implementation and compliance status.
The City f Gastonia's Stormwater program has been in place for 23 years.In March 2022,the program was audited and found to be out of
compliance with state standards.Since the 2022 Audit,the stormwater department has made tremendous steps,with support from city
leadership,toward a compliant program.In April,2024 The City of Gastonia achieved a final milestone toward the audit compliance with an
approved and accepted Stormwater Management Plan(SWMP).This plan,as well as the addition of staff in implement the plan,has set a course
for compliance at the next audit.The attached spreadsheet report is the documented data for FY2023/2024.As the SWMP has been in place for
only 2 months of the previous fiscal year,no significant changes have been made to warrant any additional submissions.

Stormwater Management Plan(SWMP).
The Stormwater Management Plan was approved on April 9,2024.The plan was developed by staff and reviewed by City of Gastonia leadership
and NCDEQ to ensure an appropriate direction of course for the Stormwater Department of Gastonia.At this time,no additional amendments or
additions have been made to the SWMP for the previous fiscal year.
