Unclogged return lines on the one clarifier that washed out and completed all necessary repairs to the tertiary
filters - fixed traveling bridge and associated piping connected to the bridge.
Turned off post aerator and closed both effluent valves leaving the plant. Utilized lime and straw where
wastewater was on the ground.
The wastewater was partially treated and disinfected prior to discharge in the creek and was quickly washed
away due to high creek levels, leaving nothing to clean up. The recent heavy rains contributed to high flows
at the plant due to l&l, \Mnich overwhelmed the filters.
Chemically cleaned filters. Staff added temporary high level float on tertiary filters tied to an alarm. In
addition, we are pricing long term SCADA alarm systems to be tied to all critical units.
