MOORE and wife, REBECCA MOORE, 2012 Bay Island Quay, Virginia Beach, VA 23451, hereinafter referred to as GRANTORS; to THE TOWN OF BELHAVEN, P. O. Box 220, Belhaven, North Carolina 27810, hereinafter referred to as GRANTEE. WITNESSETH: That the said Grantors in consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration to them in hand paid by said Grantee, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold, and by these presents, do bargain, sell and convey unto the said Grantee, its successors and assigns, the following parcel or tract of land in the State of North Carolina, County of Beaufort, Pantego Township, in the Town of Belhaven, and more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a PK nail set in the southerly edge of the right of way of Water Street, said PK nail being located South 70 degrees 01' 36" West, 25.36 feet from a PK nail set in the intersection of the center lines of Pamlico and Water Streets (as shown in Plat Cabinet D, Slide 110); thence from said point of beginning and running with the now or formerly Hodges line (833/826) South 47 degrees 00' 00" West, 155.75 feet to an iron pipe, then running with the now or formerly Hodges line (605/573) and continuing along the same bearing a distance of 184.12 feet to a railroad iron, then continuing along the same bearing a distance of 4.38 feet to a point; thence along the existing shoreline to a point which is North 79 degrees 23' 00" West, 51.78 feet from the previous call; thence North 43 degrees 00' 00" West, 100.00 feet to a point in Wynne's Gut; thence North 42 degrees 25' 09" East, 164.48 feet to a point in Wynne's Gut; thence North 33 degrees 11' 06" East, 62.82 feet to a point; thence South 43 degrees 00' 00" East, 65.00 feet to an iron pipe in the now or formerly Town of Belhaven line (1020/437); thence and running with the now or formerly Town of Belhaven line (1020/437) North 47 degrees 00' 00" East 150.00 feet to an iron pipe in the southerly edge of the right of way of Water Street; thence and running with the edge of said right of way South 43 degrees 00' 00" East, 104.82 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1.13 acres, more or less, and being more particular described on that map of survey by James J. Albera, RLS, dated March 27, 2000, said map being incorporated herein for a more complete and accurate description. Reference is made to deed recorded in Book 1165 Page 248, Beaufort County Registry. Moore by deed dated September 27, 2010 and recorded in Book 1731 Page 646 in the Beaufort County Register of Deeds. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the aforesaid parcel or tract of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Grantee, its successors and assigns forever. The Grantors covenant with the Grantee that they are seized in fee simple of the land above described and have good right and title to convey the same; that the same is free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, except ad valorem taxes for the current year, and they will forever warrant and defend the title to the same against all lawful claims and demands whatsoever.
