TIP R-4071. Dear Sirs: Please find enclosed a modified permit drawing and impact summary table for the above referenced project. The modification includes an additional allowable Buffer Zone 1 impact of 2376 sq. ft for bank stabilization and 74 additional feet of temporary rs eam impact for accumulated sediment removal. We are requesting these additiona impacts to sta i ize t e s ream a and bed to ensure the additional treated storm water this site will now be receiving will not degrade this channel. Also we want to maximize the amount of water that this channel section can handle due to known flooding issues in this area primarily due to the close proximity of houses to the stream channel. Best Management Practices for the Protection of Surface Waters including dewatering of this site will be strictly adhered to during this stream cleanout and bank stabilization activity. If further information is needed, please contact Chad Goggins Div. 4 Environmental Specialist (252)296-3532. Sincerely, R.
