Although the facility will discharge into nearby McDowell Creek, a CMUD sewer line exists at the WTP site, if needed. It should also be noted that elevated levels of nutrients have been found through stream sampling conducted by the Mecklenburg County Department of Environmental Protection (MCDEP) in McDowell Creek near the junction with Mountain Island Lake, z 2-3 miles below the proposed WTP site. Pending a technical review and approval by P&E, it is recommended that an ATC be issued. r Lr4eH t: )' 0 C-' e 4: - e — Signature of Report Preparer Date WA Water Quality Regional Supervisor
