Inspection Summary:
I went over the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SP3)with Nicole Velasquez the SH&E coordinator. I found that the
plan had not been updated since at least 2021 which is the last time any samples were taken. Nicole indicated that there
have been many changes in the EHS postion at the facility and that they have not kept up with their requirements. This is
obvious do to the lack of sample data and updated SP3 information.
A Notice of Violation is being drafted due to this fact and the facility is required to begin sampling as required by there
permit. In addition, you will be required to develope a detailed outline or SOP that provides directions for all sections and
requirements of the stormwater permit. This will include a who, what, when, where and how for all sections of the permit. It
should include sampling, inspection, training, submittals, spill prevention and all the components and aspects for each. I will
expect something that anyone could use to immediately fullfill all the obligations of the permit with minimal or no assistance.
