Thank you to your wife for her assistance and cooperation during the inspection. The report should be self-explanatory. Please take special note of the comments sections for things which need to be addressed. No analytical results were available at the time of the inspection. The permit requires annual monitoring of the system. Please provide a copy of the analytical results when available. The system may need to be pumped out as there were no records of this being done in the past few years. The permit requires that septic tank be pumped every five years or as needed. A review of our data base shows that the annual fees have not been paid for the past two years. Those invoices are included with this letter. Comment: Analytical sampling has not been done. The permit requires annual sampling. Without sampling results, it is not possible to determine if the system is performing adequately. The receiving stream is a cove of Lake Hickory. An access/clean-out was located lust a few feet below the chlorine contact chamber.
