After reviewing the above noted application, additional information is required in order to continue my
review. Please provide a response with the information requested within 30 days of this email. Note that the
application will be considered "on hold" until a complete response is received.
Please provide clarification regarding cumulative wetland impacts from version 1 being excluded
from mitigation total. 20200396v1 approved 0.015 acres of wetland fill. It is my understanding that
including the impacts for 202003960, wetland impacts for the project now total 0.351 acres of
wetland. Version 1 impacts were never constructed, they are included as a part of this permit. Permanent
wetland impacts are 0.33 ac

2. Culvert burial in wetlands is typically discouraged, please provide justification for buriaIs hown on pages
12 and 16 of application packet or updated plans for Impact Area 2 and Impact Area 4 (wetland impacts).
Plans have been updated, impact area 2 and 4 no longer have buried culverts.
3. Please provide a copy of the locally approved stormwater management plan from Chatham County with
proof of approval. [15A NCAC 02H .0506(b)(5) and (c)(5)] Per Chatham county, they need issued 401/404
to issue stormwater approvals.
Please note that responses to the questions above may prompt additional information requests to allow full
evaluation of the proposed project.
